The
Executive Committee is
created by the MMA Bylaws
and serves as the governing
body of the Maine Municipal
Association. The Committee
is composed of 12 elected
or appointed municipal
officials including a
President,
Immediate Past
President, Vice President
and nine Executive Committee
members (three three-year
staggering terms). Executive
Committee members are
elected
by the membership
in August of each year
by mail ballot and announced
at the
MMA
Annual
Business
meeting. Officers serve
one-year terms in their
respective positions.
