Tip: Is this particular activity really a good idea?
This is a good question to ask when planning individual events that are part of an upcoming bicentennial, 4th of July festivity, or a municipal Old Home Days type of event. Consider "what is the worst thing that acould happen?" Think through all municipally-sponsored public and employee events and consider safety as a critical factor. A safe plan NOW may prevent an emergency LATER.
