The Greens want to make a beach at their camp!

This publication is presented for "Classroom Use Only."  Its intended use is to stimulate and aid in discussion and role playing within a classroom setting.

The Greens had a piece of property on a local lake. The property is shaped like a rectangle, 200' on the shore and 200' back to the camp road. The property has been in the family since the 1940s. The Greens really like spending time at the lake and want to improve their time there by bringing in truckloads of sand so they can create a beach in front of their camp. When the Greens approach the town for a permit, they are told that they cannot create a beach. They are outraged!
