Cut & Paste

Sample documents are provided throughout the site, for the purpose of being used by municipal officials to draft a modified copy of the document for their municipality.

• Click your mouse (cursor) on the beginning of the text you wish to copy.

• Hold down the 'left-click' of the mouse and drag the mouse/cursor down until the end of the text you wish to copy.

• Release (section will be highlighted).

• Now (with the text highlighted) press control (ctrl) button down, and also press "c." This copies the text.

• Then go to the document where you will place this selected text, and press control, and also "v." This will paste the text into the document for you.
