Justice Department Warns of COVID Fraud

The U.S. Justice Department warns the public and local and state leaders that trying times, like the coronavirus public health emergency, can make acts of fraud, gouging and hoarding more prevalent. Consumers may also be more susceptible to deceptive sales pitches. The Justice Department has set up a website and hotline to help combat this problem.
