Update: Large Employer Vaccination Mandate in Effect, Again

On December 17, 2021 the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit dissolved the Fifth Circuit’s stay of OSHA’s COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS). This means that, effective immediately, the OSHA ETS is back in effect. MMA’s Legal Services Department has updated its guidance on the OSHA ETS to explain recent developments and how this impacts municipal employers in Maine.
