The Town of Wells is seeking a Full-Time Library Assistant II – Youth Services. This position is responsible for designing, planning, promoting and running events for teens and children as well as providing them with reader’s advisory services, creating calendars and promotional materials. This position provides patron assistance at the circulation desk and is also responsible for managing a budget for the teen book collection. The individual in this position is required to perform all similar or related duties.
The successful candidate must have a combination of education and experience equivalent to: a two-year college with an Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred; one to three (1-3) years related work experience or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. In addition, the candidate must be able to get along with others in a professional manner in the workplace.

The Town of Wells offers an excellent pay and benefit package. This is a full-time position with a starting hourly wage of $19.51 - $23.52, based on experience.
