The Maine Turnpike Authority (MTA) is accepting applications for full-time Highway Maintenance III positions at its Maintenance Facility in York, Maine.
Duties include operating snow removal equipment and various highway maintenance activities in a minimum 40-hour workweek. Position requires a Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record and physical stamina to work long hours. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must pass background checks and tests including criminal, motor vehicle, physical, DOT pre-employment drug test, and employment references. Starting pay is $20.99 an hour with a comprehensive benefits package including paid medical and dental insurance for the employee, retirement plan, sick and vacation time, and paid holidays.
