Carrabassett Valley Police Department/Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation

Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation is accepting applications for a full-time utility position within the Carrabassett Valley Police Department and Sugarloaf Security. The position will be 32Hrs/week with the possibility of overtime. Applicants will have availability for days, nights, weekends and holidays. Medical/dental/vision, 401k.

Applicants must be a high school graduate and possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving history and no criminal record.

The duties of this position include:

The utility position will be trained and certified in all duties as a Carrabassett Communications Center Dispatcher to fill in shifts for the full-time dispatchers for scheduled time off. Some of the dispatch duties include but are not limited to: answering the telephone, dispatching officers, fire department, ambulance, and other emergency services to calls for service. Monitoring an alarm computer and recognizing proper responses for the alarm system, and creating work orders for the alarm technician. The utility position will also assist the Alarm Technician with installations and work orders. The utility position will be able to drive/walk to the designated areas of Sugarloaf property for parking enforcement. The Utility person should understand this job description is a flexible position and can change from time to time, as deemed necessary by the Chief of Police.
