The Parks & Recreation Department has several openings for seasonal
parks maintenance workers. Seasonal positions are temporary and will be up to 40
hours per week (non-benefit eligible). Flexible work week schedules are
available. Some positions will include Saturdays and Sundays.
Duties: Mowing, upkeep and
daily cleanup of a variety of park areas; athletic field preparation; painting;
securing park gates; trash pickup; and support of special events.

Requirements: Must be able
to operate small power hand tools and riding mower; able to lift and carry 50
pounds; must have driver's license with a good driving record.
Criminal and driving background
checks will be conducted for final candidates. Steel- toed work boots are
required. Pay range is $10.35 to $11.00 per hour, DOE.
