Town of Brunswick - Seasonal Parks Maintenance Workers

The Parks & Recreation Department has several openings for seasonal parks maintenance workers. Seasonal positions are temporary and will be up to 40 hours per week (non-benefit eligible). Flexible work week schedules are available. Some positions will include Saturdays and Sundays.

Duties:  Mowing, upkeep and daily cleanup of a variety of park areas; athletic field preparation; painting; securing park gates; trash pickup; and support of special events.

Requirements:  Must be able to operate small power hand tools and riding mower; able to lift and carry 50 pounds; must have driver's license with a good driving record.

Criminal and driving background checks will be conducted for final candidates. Steel- toed work boots are required. Pay range is $10.35 to $11.00 per hour, DOE.

Important note: The availability and continuation of these seasonal positions is dependent on sufficient funding. The Director of Parks and Recreation shall, in his sole discretion, determine whether the appropriation is sufficient to fund these positions and for what duration.
