Code Enforcement Officer/LPI/Health Officer Opening

The Town of Greenwood is currently seeking a candidate  for a part-time, as needed, on call position as Code Enforcement Officer/Local Plumbing Inspector/Health Officer.  The successful candidate must be willing to meet all State of Maine requirements as CEO/LPI/Health Officer within one year. 

This position is a technical and administrative position that is enforcing the municipal codes, ordinances, as well as other applicable state and federal ordinances. The candidate needs the ability to read and understand site plans/building plans.

Being knowledgeable in Shoreland Zoning Regulations would be a requirement due to much activity on Greenwood’s waterfront properties. The CEO will attend all meetings of the Planning Board and Board of Appeals, including information for the board's review.
