The City of Caribou is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Planner / Code Enforcement Officer. This is a highly skilled professional position that is responsible for ensuring the effective, safe, and efficient delivery of zoning and planning services in the community. The Planner / Code Enforcement Officer plans, implements, and oversees the department’s annual operating and revenue budgets. Work is performed with considerable independence and latitude but is subject to the provisions of the Caribou City Charter, Maine State Law Title 30-A MRSA §4451, and executive direction by the City Manager. This is a regular, full-time position with a benefit package including vacation, holiday, and sick pay as well as health insurance options and more.
