Town of Durham, RFP for utility vehicle

Training for: Requests for Proposals (RFP)

                             (RFP) Request for proposal for fire department utility vehicle

 

     The purpose of this RFP is to have a pool of eligible contractor’s/bidders, for the Durham fire department to choose its next utility vehicle from.

 Bids will be received via email (Chief@durhammaine.gov) no later than April 28,2023 at 9am.

The town board, manager and fire chief reserve the right to accept or reject any and all proposals.

     The following specifications shall be the minimum requirements and the bid shall be of the manufacture’s latest model and design. The bid item must also comply with all applicable Federal and Maine laws. All items appearing in the bidder’s regular published specifications are assumed to be included in the bidder’s proposal.

 

 

Requirements:

 

Model year 2023 or newer: Model year 2022 leftover will be considered.

¾ ton crew cab work truck, with utility body (6 cabinets) of Reading manufacturer or equivalent: An extended cab option will be considered.

Exterior color, Red

Engine V-8, gas

Transmission, Automatic/4WD

 

Included Options:

Integrated trailer brake controller

Snow plow prep, (220-amp alternator, skid plates)

Spray on bedliner

6” black aluminum rectangular assist steps

Note: Any equipment not specified but required by law will be included.
