The Town of Stockton Springs is seeking applicants for the position of Deputy Harbor Master.  This is a stipend position.

This position functions under the direction of the Harbor Master and has responsibilities in assisting in the enforcement of Federal, State, and local laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to Stockton Harbor.  Work involves keeping the marine traffic channel open through the direction of boat traffic and the assignment of moorings.  Attendance at Harbor Committee meetings is required.  Duties include assisting in the installation and removal of docks, as well as facilitating vessel launching and hauling, and public use of the docks.  Supervision is provided by the Harbor Master and the Town Manager, with input from the Harbor Committee.
