Full-Time EMS Provider (Paramedic Preferred)

The Waldoboro Emergency Medical Service Department is currently accepting applications for a full-time EMS provider (Paramedic Preferred).

Duties to be performed include emergency medical calls, inter-facility transfers, and other duties as assigned relevant to the job description. Ideal applicants would have a valid State of Maine Paramedic License, PIFT, valid CPR card, AVOC (or equivalent) certification, valid PHTLS, PALS, ACLS and relevant ICS certifications. Candidates who are not licensed as paramedics will not be required to maintain ACLS or PALS but will be responsible for other certifications pertinent to license level.

This is a full-time position. The schedule consists of two 24-hour shifts per week with 16 hours of overtime per two week pay period. Applicants must be able to work 24-hour shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Employees are eligible for Maine PERS 3C retirement 2/3 salary at 25 years no age requirement. The Town of Waldoboro provides health, dental and vision insurance and more!

Pay Range: $20-27/hour
