Join the City of Saco as our next Human Resources Director - a great opportunity to lead Saco's HR Department. Reporting directly to the City Administrator, the HR Director plays a vital role on the leadership team, overseeing labor relations, recruitment, compliance, benefits, training, and more for a dynamic municipal workforce.

We're seeking an experienced, strategic, people-centered HR leader passionate about public service and organizational development with the following education and experience:  

• A bachelor's degree in human resources, public administration, business administration, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible HR experience, including 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role, is required.  
• Experience with collective bargaining, public sector HR, and a SHRM-CP/SCP, IPMA-HR (or equivalent certification) are strongly preferred.
