The Town of Freeport is accepting applications for opening(s) for the position of police officer. Candidates should be highly motivated and community oriented. Whether you're an experienced officer or new to the field, we want to hear from you.

We’re Looking For:

  • Highly motivated, community-focused individuals
  • At least 21 years old, high school diploma/GED
  • Valid driver’s license, clean criminal and driving record
  • Preference for MCJA-certified and lateral applicants

Successful candidates may be required to pass an extensive background investigation, polygraph testing, psychological exam, physical exam, and oral board(s).
