The Freeport Police Department is hiring for seasonal help focused on supporting parking enforcement and community access during the busy summer months

What You’ll Do:
- Monitor and enforce parking regulations in downtown Freeport
- Assist with visitor and public inquiries in a friendly, professional manner
- Work outdoors independently while supporting the department’s daily operations
- Provide a visible, approachable presence to help maintain traffic flow and safety
Who We’re Looking For:
- Self-motivated, dependable individuals who enjoy working outside
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally with the public
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Job Details:
- Pay: $20.00/hour
- Schedule: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 7 days/week (shared shifts among staff)
- Seasonal Duration: Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend
- Supervisor: Reports to the Police Department Lieutenant
- Uniform shirts provided
