The Town of Skowhegan is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Executive Secretary to the Town Manager.  This is a responsible administrative, clerical and secretarial position in a fast pace working environment.  This position is a key team member in supporting and assisting the administrative leadership that focuses on project management, grant administration and assisting selective boards and committees.

 

This is a challenging and interesting position for a highly motivated and team-oriented individual with proven work experience in serving an executive in similar position with like responsibilities.

 

Work involves considerable contact with the public and requires developed computer and keyboard skills along with the ability to organize and keep accurate records.  Working knowledge of municipal government is also desired.  Excellent communication and people skills are expected.

 

A competitive wage and benefit package will be offered to the qualified candidate.  Must possess at least a High School diploma or it’s equivalent.
