The Town of Vinalhaven is currently accepting applications for a part-time CEO/LPI. This is a professional position involving administrative and technical work in enforcing building and plumbing codes, and compliance with the Vinalhaven Land Use Ordinance and all applicable State and Federal land use regulations.  This position would also support the Planning Board and Board of Appeals.  Work hours are flexible, but generally 20 hours per week.  Applicants should have experience in building construction and inspection, high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid drivers license.  Familiarity with land use planning and development is preferred.  Candidates should have, or shall obtain within 12-months, a State of Maine certification as a Code Enforcement Officer and Local Plumbing Inspector.
