The Bangor Water District is seeking a Full-Time Crew Supervisor. This position is a working field supervisor for the construction department and is responsible for assisting with planning and directing field supervision of department work crews.

The successful candidate must have the ability to get along with others in a professional manner, knowledge, and ability to operate all heavy equipment and vehicles used by the department, and related construction machinery, tools, and equipment. In addition, the successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of piping/plumbing systems and applied water hydraulics and should have effective leadership and supervisory skills.

The candidate must possess a combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma, two (2) year degree in construction related discipline preferred, or the equivalent; three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the building/construction trades, and three (3) years; experience in the installation of water or wastewater distribution piping preferred.

As a condition of employment, the employee is required to pass a personal background examination.

The Bangor Water District offers an excellent pay and benefit package. Salary range: $29.45 - $39.76 per hour depending upon experience.
