The City of Sanford is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer with the Sanford Police Department.
Applicants must be a high school graduate or hold a GED and be at least 21 years old at the time of hire. Possession of a Maine Criminal Justice Academy full-time police officer certification or full-time police officer certification from another state that will be accepted by the MCJA is preferred but not required. Any out of state certification will also need the MCJA alert certificate.
