 The Town of Richmond is seeking a qualified, motivated, career-oriented individual for the position of Deputy Tax Collector and General Assistance Administrator.  Experience and extensive knowledge of computers and Microsoft software are vital to this position.  The ability to rapidly acquire and assimilate knowledge of the procedures relating to duties and responsibilities of Deputy Tax Collector, Deputy Town Clerk and Deputy Treasurer, as well as miscellaneous administrative duties and administering the towns General Assistance program. 

The ideal candidate would have experience in a municipal environment, working knowledge of municipal accounting and budgeting systems, experience with exceptional customer service and Trio software programs. Must be bondable and is subject to criminal background check.

This is a 40-hour week position, Monday-Thursday, salary commensurate with experience and full benefit package.
