About this Position:

The Town of Yarmouth Police Department is currently seeking a highly motivated and community-oriented individual to fill the part-time position of Seasonal Waterfront Ranger.  This position will support the Harbormaster during the busy months of June into September.  The start and end dates will be fluid based on the season and the needs of the Police Department. 

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and should be interested in boating and marine related activities. Applicants shall possess a driver’s license in good standing, have excellent communication skills and a willingness to work with the public.

The job functions will be to assist the Harbor Master with Yarmouth waterfront facilities. Candidates should be aware that the primary job function will be with parking enforcement.  Other duties will include general public interaction (assisting visitors with questions) and maintaining dinghies, docks, and other equipment along the waterfront.  Other duties may be assigned as needed.
