The Maine Municipal Association is pleased to again sponsor the Inclusion Maine Conference on May 1-3, 2024 at the Portland Sheraton in Portland, Maine. Our state needs 75,000 new workers by 2029 in order to sustain our economy and growth, and the Inclusion Maine Conference aims to give employers the tools to build belonging for all to attract and retain diverse talent in Maine. More details about the conference and Inclusion Maine can be found at https://www.inclusionmaine.org/conference

Employees and officials from MMA member municipalities can get 50% off their registration for the three-day conference! If you’d like to attend, please follow these steps:

  • Access registration for the conference at https://www.inclusionmaine.org/conference
  • In your registration, utilize the Discount Code “MEMBER” to receive 50% off the registration fee and complete your registration and payment
  • Once registration is completed, forward your confirmation to Peter Osborne, MMA Director of Educational Services, at posborne@memun.org
  • Because the 50% registration discount is made possible through grant funds made available by the Maine Workforce Development Compact, you must then complete the online registration and post-event surveys provided by the Maine Community College System. If you do not complete these surveys in a timely manner, then you may need to reimburse Inclusion Maine for the amount of the grant funds provided.
  • Attend, learn, network, and otherwise enjoy the conference!

Space is limited at the Conference, so don’t hesitate to register! The Portland Sheraton is also offering a special conference rate for the hotel – in order to book your lodging, please use this link.

If you have any questions or need assistance with this registration process, please contact Peter Osborne at posborne@memun.org.
