•          Schools, Trust & Ministerial Funds

•          Relationship with Tax Collectors and Assessors

•          Records Disposition

•          Budgeting

•          Resources

 

NOTE: This workshop will be taught using a course outline which is based largely on material found in the MMA Tax Collectors and Treasurers Manual.  The manual may be purchased by calling MMA Publications at (207-623-8428).  It may also be ordered online or downloaded from the MMA website (www.memun.org).

 

Cancellation:

Cancellations must be submitted using this Cancellation form to cancel your registration for an event. Cancellations received before 7/18/25 will be assessed a $15 administrative fee for processing. Cancellations received on/after 7/18/25 will be charged 50% of the course fee. Any registrant who does not attend and does not cancel their registration (i.e., no-show) and any cancellation received the day of the event will be charged the full registration fee. Registration substitutions are permitted for registrants within the same municipality/organization and will be assessed a $15 substitution fee. Please email [email protected] to request a registration substitution. Registration transfers to a future training offering are not permitted.

 

Certification:

Participants must check in at the beginning of the course and be present for the full day to receive a certificate. Certificates will be handed out after the class and will not be mailed. If you do not pick up your certificate after the class you will not receive credit for attending. For attendees who must leave early for emergency situations; a determination will be made by the Professional Development Committee of the Executive Board as to the nature of the emergency and whether a sufficient portion of the course was covered to warrant certification credit. The MMTCTA does not reproduce certificates after a training session. *Any member whose certification expires must attain their original certification again.
