The Town of Pownal seeks proposals to install an electronic sign at the Pownal Town Hall. The successful bidder will serve as the general contractor for the project and is responsible for hiring any and all qualified subcontractors to satisfactorily complete all aspects of construction and installation, including, but not limited to site work, electrical wiring, procuring materials, and staff training in operation.  The finished product is to resemble a concept approved by the Select Board.

 

The sign will be located at the Pownal Town Hall, 429 Hallowell Road.  All bidders shall submit proof of general liability and workers compensation insurance and shall be responsible for payment to any hired subcontractors. 

 

The submitted proposal shall include a concept drawing for the sign, the cost for completion of the entire project, the estimated completion date and a list of subcontractors to be used.  Please include a list of at least three references and examples of similar project completion.

The Pownal Select Board will open and read aloud the proposals at their regularly scheduled meeting on May 13, 2024.  A project award will be scheduled for a future Select Board meeting following staff and board analysis.  The Town of Pownal reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids/proposals.
