Library Drainage Solution – Town of Dixfield

 

1. Introduction

The Town of Dixfield invites qualified firms to submit proposals for the design and implementation of a drainage solution at the Ludden Memorial Library, located at 42 Main St, Dixfield, ME. The goal is to mitigate water accumulation issues affecting the property and ensure long-term site stability.

 

2. Scope of Work

The selected firm will:

  • Conduct a site visit and drainage assessment.
  • Provide recommendations for improved stormwater management.
  • Design a cost-effective and durable drainage system.
  • Conduct installation.
  • Provide maintenance recommendations post-installation.

 

3. Proposal Requirements

Include the following:

  • Firm qualifications and similar project experience.
  • Proposed approach and project timeline.
  • Fee structure and estimated total cost.
  • Proof of insurance and relevant licensure.

 

4. Evaluation Criteria

Proposals will be evaluated based on:

  • Technical qualifications and experience.
  • Proposed methodology and feasibility.
  • Cost effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with Maine stormwater requirements.
