New Gloucester Fire Rescue Tank 2 Refurbishment

The Town of New Gloucester is seeking bid requests for a new refurbishment of Tank 2, a 2001 Freightliner/Central States Pumper/Tanker. Tank 2 has a 1500 gpm single stage Waterous pump with a 2500 gallon poly tank. Tank 2 has 27,219 miles on it. All warranties expressed, written, implied, or secondary purchase through a manufacturer or bidder shall be disclosed in the bid. Town of New Gloucester has the right to reject any and all bids. All bids shall be valid for 45 days. All bids shall include an estimated date of completion.

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the exterior, “Tank 2 Refurb RFP Bids” to the Town Manager, Town of New Gloucester, 385 Intervale Road, New Gloucester, ME 04260, by 6:00 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2025. The Select Board will open and read the bids at 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2025 at the New Gloucester Meetinghouse, 389 Intervale Road, New Gloucester, Maine.  The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.
