Town of Ogunquit - Mobile Column Lift

General Information:

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly labeled Mobile Lifts Bid Public Works and must be received in the Ogunquit Municipal Office, PO Box 875, 23 School Street, Ogunquit, Maine 03907 by Wednesday, August 10 at 1:00 pm, at which time they shall be publicly opened.

It is anticipated that the successful bidder will be chosen at a public meeting of the Select Board scheduled for Tuesday, August 16 at 6:00 pm.  The Select Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid deficiencies as they may deem to be in the best interests of the Town.  The Town will notify the successful bidder within 20 days of the bid opening and the vehicle must be available for the Town to take ownership within 120 days of such notification.  (Payment will be rendered at the time of delivery and the title will be expected at that time – there will be no lien holders.)

Bids may contain options and complete vehicle alternatives provided that any deviation from the minimum specifications is clearly stated.

Bids must contain manufacturer’s and/or dealers as-built specifications for all components set forth in this bid document.

Bid price shall be all inclusive for the Town to take ownership of the mobile lifts once delivered to Ogunquit Public Works as otherwise set forth herein.
