INVITATION TO BID
The Town of Standish, Maine will accept sealed bids for the truss and roof replacement for the Town of Standish Salt Building (30 ft wide X 42 Ft in Length) located at 150 Moody Road in Standish. The improvements include removing all current roof tresses and replacing them with a scissor truss, removing all metal roofing and replacing the roof with new metal roofing. The Bidder must meet with the Public Works Director or his designated person at 150 Moody Road to review the work to be performed prior to July 7 at 10am. Bids can be sent to the Public Works Director John Cross at 175 Northeast Rd. Standish, Maine. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes with the name and address of the Bidder and clearly marked "Standish Salt Building Roof Replacement Project Bid DO NOT OPEN UNTIL 10am on July 7, 2025." on the face of the envelope. The bids will be reviewed by the Public Works Director and Town Manager and the scheduled bid award will be on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 10:00am at 175 Northeast Road in Standish.
Bids shall include Labor, Materials, Trusses, and Metal Roofing approved by the Town of Standish. No Bidder may withdraw a bid within five (5) days after opening thereof. The town reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
