The City of Saco Planning Department is seeking an Assistant City Planner of Compliance to help us shape the future of our community! If you’re detail-oriented, love collaborating, and have a strong knowledge of zoning laws and city regulations, we want to hear from you.

The Assistant City Planner of Compliance is a critical position for the City, working collaboratively within Planning, and other city departments. This position monitors compliance of Planning Board approvals from approval to project closeout and completion. This position is responsible for monitoring financial guarantee funds, conditions of Planning Board approvals, stormwater management reporting, and ongoing compliance with approval conditions beyond project closeout. This position is also responsible for monitoring compliance with contract zones, development agreements, and other similar conditions. The Assistant City Planner of Compliance will also work among various departments on long-term planning compliance with the implementation of the Comprehensive Plan.
