The City of Brewer is seeking a team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude to fill the position of Environmental Services Technician within the Brewer Environmental Services Department.

Environmental Services Technicians are responsible for the inspection and general maintenance of all underground sanitary sewer and storm drain systems.
 

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
 

• A State of Maine Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a tanker endorsement, or the ability to obtain one within six months of hire.
• A Class I and II Collection Systems Operator License, or the ability to obtain both within three years.
• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check.
