Parking Division
Full-time position (37.5 hrs/week - 4 day work week)
Schedule is: Wednesday & Saturday 3:30pm-1:30am and Thursday & Friday 3:15pm-1:30am
The Parking Division is currently looking for hard working and dependable individuals that enjoy interacting with customers and enjoy working in a team setting. If you are self-motivated and enjoy a challenge, this could be a great fit.
This is a supervisory position responsible for receiving and accounting for funds generated by parking garages and lots. The shift leader supervises cashiers and maintenance workers and is in charge of facilities during all hours of operation. The ideal candidate has proven experience handling cash, completing reconciliation reports, and making bank deposits. Knowledge of parking operations and supervisory experience is desirable, as are mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills in a windows environment. This is a hands-on supervisory position requiring the ability to oversee multiple locations simultaneously and to perform routine maintenance including snow shoveling when needed.
Requirements:
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a confined space or toll booth.
• Familiarity with Word and Excel.
• Ability to perform light physical work with frequent standing and walking and occasional lifting/carrying objects weighing 25 lbs., and field of vision to move quickly or to stand in garage traffic and avoid being hit by vehicles.
• Ability and willingness to work in varied weather conditions.
• Must possess valid Maine Class C driver's license (must provide license number) and maintain a good driving record.

Salary & Benefits:
This is a union position, CEBA (Grade 11) – Pay range starting at $22.50/hr., which includes a $0.45/hr night shift differential.
