Hiring multiple part-time, permanent, non-benefit eligible positions: under 18.75/hours a week.
The City of Portland Recreation Division is offering a creative opportunity to engage with the community through a variety of recreational activities. This position is responsible for monitoring and engaging with program participants in the After the Bell Program at our school sites. Must have excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with children. First aid and CPR certified preferred. The After School Program varied hours include 2:00 - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Slight variation in hours and schedule are possible due to staggered start and end times of Portland Elementary Schools.
Necessary Special Requirements: A valid Class C driver's license in good standing is desired - if the candidate has valid class C, a driving record check will be conducted. Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory criminal background ground check. American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Certification or the ability to obtain within the first six months of appointment date.
CEBA union position – Grade 4 - $17.60/hour.
