Code Enforcement Officer/Facilities Director

The Town of Clinton is seeking a regular part-time (32 hours per week) Code Enforcement Officer/Facilities Director. With the right candidate and pending town meeting vote this could be a full time, benefited position. Applicants with construction/contractor background are highly encouraged to apply, willing to train for the code enforcement part of the job.

With a population of 3,600, Clinton is a farming community about 15 minutes north of Waterville and 45 minutes south of Bangor on I-95. This is an administrative position that is responsible for the inspection and issuance of permits for land use, plumbing and building permits. This position also oversees all maintenance for town buildings and facilities.

Applicants certified as Code Enforcement Officer's and proven customer service skills and experience with MUBEC preferred. The town will consider other applicants, and the chosen candidate will have 12 months to complete certification requirements.
