The Sanford Sewerage District is seeking an operator for its collection and pumping division. The selected individual will be a hard-working, self-motivated team player who is willing to learn on the job and is willing to make a difference for the environment. The District operates 73 miles of sewer supported by 16 pump stations. The Sanford Sewerage District offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Starting pay is competitive based on experience. The District offers an exceptional benefits package including medical, dental, ETO, life iinsurance, and 14 paid holidays. The typial work week is Monday-Thursday 6:00 to 4:00 with a weekend rotating on-call schedule. Class B CDL with tanker endorsement is preferred or must be able to acquire within 6 months.
