The Town of Dixfield is seeking an individual to serve as a Deputy Town Clerk. This is a full-time, 40-hour/week position, plus any required meetings or elections, with a generous benefits package. Responsibilities include: extensive public service, including in person, by phone, mail, and email; posting and filing of various licenses and reports; collection of real estate, personal property and excise taxes; preparation and maintenance of elections and election materials and the general assistance program; with additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Town Manager. Knowledge of modern office practices and equipment, including computers, and ability to learn new programs at an accelerated rate, ability to organize, file and set priorities a must.
