Assistant Clerk

The Town of Oxford is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Assistant Clerk. This role requires a highly motivated and professional individual who can multitask, prioritize responsibilities, pay close attention to detail, and deliver outstanding customer service. The Assistant Clerk will be responsible for a variety of duties, including tax collection, processing licenses and registrations, assisting with elections, and maintaining accurate records.

While prior experience in a municipal clerk’s office and familiarity with TRIO software are preferred, they are not required for consideration. The Town of Oxford offers a competitive benefits package, including 100% employer-paid health insurance for employees and retirement plan options. Wages for this position will be based on the candidate’s education, training, and experience.
