Med-Care Ambulance, located in Mexico, ME is seeking dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMT's) and Paramedics to join our team. You will play a crucial role in providing emergency medical care to patients in various settings for the Northern Oxford County. Med-Care serves eleven communities and operates two advanced ALS ambulances 24/7, with a third ambulance available 8:00a-8:00pm. As a quasi-municipal ambulance service, Med-Care is committed to providing exceptional emergency services to our communities. Annual call volume is approximately 4,200 with 2/3 being emergencies. We pride ourselves in our strong team relationships and positive work environment.

There are currently two full-time AEMT positions and two full-time Paramedic positions. You will be responsible for providing advanced life support care to patients in emergency situations. This includes administering medication, performing medical procedures, and providing transportation to medical facilities. You will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals and ensure proper documentation of patient care. • Valid EMT, AEMT or Paramedic certification/license
• Strong knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols
• Ability to assess and prioritize patient conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-stress situations
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
