The Glenburn Fire Department is looking for qualified individuals to join our team. The Town of Glenburn is a bedroom community serving roughly 5,000 residents while supporting many adjacent communities with mutual aid. Currently providing first response EMS, Transporting Paramedic Ambulance, fire suppression, and water rescue to Pushaw Lake. The Glenburn Fire Department is a community base fire department with a strong focus on community development, fire prevention, and public education. *Full job description available upon request*

Minimum Qualifications:  Must be 18 years of age  High School Diploma or equivalent  Valid Maine driver’s license  Willingness to be a contributing member of a team that values collaboration  Self Motivated Preferred Qualifications:  Pro-board or IFSAC Firefighter I or I/II  Maine or National Registry Paramedic  Current hazardous materials operations certification  Advanced Degree in Fire Science, Paramedicine, Business, or similar areas of study.
