Now Hiring Full Time Float/Flex Paramedic Position

Med-Care Ambulance is seeking to hire a full-time Paramedic or AEMT considering advancement. This position is full time and will work a flexible schedule as agreed upon by management and the successful applicant.

Med-Care provides emergency medical services for 11 communities in Northern Oxford County. As a regionalized service we ensure that our communities are provided with exceptional care and service 24/7. Our EMS providers perform 911 emergency response, inter-facility transport and Community Paramedicine services.

System Information:

  • Three ALS ambulances staffed 24/7.
  • 48-hour work week with built in paid overtime for full-time employees (24 hour shifts on a 1 on 2 off, 1 on 4 off rotation).
  • 50 employees with 12 full-time EMS providers and 3 administrative staff.
  • Covering 11 communities over 550 square miles.
  • Responding from a new 14,000 square foot central station built in 2014 with state of the art classroom and crew quarters.
  • Responding to over 4,200 calls per year including 911 and inter-facility transfers.
  • Providing care in urban, rural, and wilderness settings.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Paramedics starting at $25.47 per hour with additional compensation for experience
