The Town of Gray is seeking an innovative and experienced Library Director to lead the Gray Public Library. This full-time position is responsible for managing all aspects of library operations, including budgeting, staffing, program development, and public service.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, sound administrative skills, and a solid understanding of library services. A Master’s in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program and at least five years of library experience, including one year in a supervisory role, are required. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits (health insurance, life insurance, retirement plan, education reimbursement, and more) and a starting wage of $83,000 to $94,000 depending on experience. The regular work week is from Tuesday to Saturday, and the work hours typically correspond to the Library’s hours of operation. The position is open until filled.
