Part-time Code Enforcement Officer

The Town of Stockton Springs is seeking a part-time (8-12 hours per week) Code Enforcement Officer.  This position will report directly to the Town Manager and also includes the following titles: Local Plumbing Inspector and E-911 Addressing Agent.

 

Duties include: issuing permits, performing inspections, enforcing municipal ordinances, communicating with appropriate state and local agencies as needed, supporting and recommending to the planning board appropriate review of ordinances and shoreland zoning, as well as providing service by phone, email and mail regarding the Town of Stockton Springs.  The CEO needs to be able to create, organize and maintain records, reports, and logs which align with all the listed titles above.

 

Must demonstrate an ability to work independently, be flexible, and be a team player.  Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; must be a certified LPI and CEO; must have a valid driving license for the State of Maine.
