The Town of Woodstock is seeking a part-time Code Enforcement Officer & Licensed Plumbing Inspector to work an average of five hours per week with flexible scheduling.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to interpret local zoning ordinances and apply them to real-world situations. Additionally, candidates should have basic computer and email skills and be proficient in drafting letters and working with spreadsheets.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to, issuing plumbing permits, performing site inspections, enforcing state and municipal ordinances, and maintaining accurate records. If not already certified, candidates must commit to obtaining certification and passing the required certification exams in disciplines such as plumbing, subsurface waste disposal, building, and shoreland within one year of employment.
