Are you a compassionate, community-minded Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful difference in local public health? The Town of Kennebunkport is seeking a dedicated Public Health Staff Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis, working 8 to 12 hours per week on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday (not all days required). This is an ideal opportunity for a nurse seeking consistent part-time work with the flexibility to occasionally increase hours when the Director is on vacation or during high-demand periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care in both home and office settings
• Support community health clinics and preventative care program
• Monitor water quality for the Maine Healthy Beach Program
• Assist with emergency preparedness and health alerts
• Coordinate with local organizations and town departments to meet residents’ health and welfare needs
• Maintain medical loan equipment and assist with public outreach

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with 3–5 years of relevant experience (public health experience preferred)
• Current Maine RN license and valid driver’s license required
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others

This is a non-exempt position with a pay range of $37 to 41/hour. Must have access to reliable transportation and be comfortable with field-based nursing work in diverse home environments.
