If you are considering an exciting career in law enforcement, consider joining the professional team of dispatchers at Waterville Police Department.  The City of Waterville is accepting applications for an open Public Safety Dispatcher position in the Waterville Regional Communications Center. Competitive Wages ($19.53-$27.34/hr), Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Retirement Account with Employer Match, Holiday Pay, Uniform Allowance, 2/2/3 Work Week, Tuition Reimbursement.

Successful applicants will be responsible for providing dispatching services to area police, fire, rescue, and medical personnel. Applicants must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D.; college is preferred. Also, Certified Terminal Operator, EMD, and E911 qualified preferred. The position is shift work that may require nights, weekends and holidays. Successful applicants must meet job description standards as well as minimum medical and psychological standards.  Lateral Entry will be considered.
