The Town of Berwick is seeking applications for a seasonal Parks Laborer to join the Parks & Recreation department. This position will be responsible for the general park maintenance & care of Berwick’s Parks & Recreation Facilities, to include Memorial Park & Great Falls Park. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and grounds maintenance, equipment operation and maintenance, and knowledge of horticulture best practices.

This is a seasonal position with an anticipated start date of July 1st until November 1st.

Hours: 29 hours per week

Pay: up to $25 per hour depending on experience.

Requirements:

  • Ability to operate and maintain a lawn mower and string trimmer
  • Must be able to work independently and efficiently
  • Ability to interact professionally with the general public
  • Must be able to work long hours outdoors
