Town Clerk Position

The Town of Strong is seeking applications for full-time (minimum of 32 hours) position as Town Clerk, Registrar, Deputy Treasurer, and Deputy Tax Collector.

Pay is commensurate with experience. The appointed position offers pay, paid vacations, paid holidays, and health insurance. This position includes greeting and assisting the public, registering vehicles, and selling recreational licenses, including hunting and fishing licenses. It also includes coordinating elections, maintaining the voter list, issuing vital records, maintaining town records, taking and subscribing minutes for the select board and town meetings, and assisting the Tax Collector/Treasurer with duties as assigned.

Desirable characteristics: Attention to detail for all assigned duties, organization skills, self-motivation, and excellent computer skills, including strong skills with Microsoft.

Preferred skills: Municipal experience or other comparable experience, as well as expertise with Trio.
