Pay: Range of $22-$26 per hour based on experience.

Naples Kidventure Summer Camp is a dynamic and inclusive summer camp dedicated to providing unforgettable experiences for children of all ages. Located in Naples across from Kents Landing, our camp offers a wide range of activities designed to foster personal growth, teamwork, and lifelong memories. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Summer Camp Director to lead our team in creating an enriching and safe environment for campers. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a genuine love for working with children. The position is a seasonal full-time position. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Recreation & Community Activities Director.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in education, recreation, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a leadership role at a summer camp or similar setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse groups of people.
  • The ability to train and lead a team of camp counselors.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a curriculum, schedules, and resources efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of camp operations, including staff management, program development, and camper supervision.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate camp staff to ensure a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate programming that aligns with camp values and objectives.
  • Maintain open communication with campers, staff, parents, and the Recreation Director to address concerns and provide updates as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations to uphold the highest standards of care.
